PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

A light to clear, mobile liquid with a light blue to green colour obtained from steam distillation of the dried flower heads of the Roman Chamomile plant.
 
According to the Cosmetic Ingredient Database (CosIng), the functions of Chamomile Roman Essential Oil are: Masking, Perfuming, Skin Conditioning.

HOW TO USE IT

Skin Care
Can be used on irritated skin such as nappy rash.
 
It is one of the few oils that is safe to use on a baby in small amounts.
 
Excellent in gardeners hand creams to nourish chapped skin and hands that are prone to chilblains.
 
Use in after sun gels.
 
Great in a foot cream.
Hair Care
Use in shampoos and ok to use in those with hairline psoriasis and an irritated scalp.
 
Other
Use in baths as a wonderfully relaxing way to get ready for sleep. Just a couple of drops on the pillow will also work well.
 
Use as part of an insecticide blend.
 
Suggested Blends
Combine with Peppermint, Aloe Vera and St John’s Wort oil for after sun care.
 
Frequently used with Lavender as a synergist.

CAUTIONS/CONTRAINDICATIONS

None, but do not use in excess during pregnancy.
