A very rich & fatty organic balm containing calendula CO2 extract, well known for its beneficial properties - used for all kinds of skin problems.

Inci: Olea Europaea Fruit Oil, Cera alba, Helianthus annus hybrid oil, Simmondsia chinensis seed oil, Calendula officinalis, Lavendula angustifolia oil, Citrus bergamia peel oil expressed, Calendula officinalis flower extract, Helianthus annus seed oil, Anthemis nobilis Flower Oil, Rosmarinus officinalis leaf extract, *Geraniol, *Limonene, *Linalool, *Citral, *occurs naturally in essential oils.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Formerly known as Marigold Ointment or Calendula Ointment.
 
We now use all organic ingredients for this product (but it is not certified organic yet) and have made it a slightly softer product, hence the name change to ‘balm’.
 
It is a very rich and fatty balm containing Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Organic Beeswax and Organic Calendula CO2 Extract in Organic Jojoba Oil.
 
Calendula is well known for its beneficial properties and its CO2 form, it is particularly effective.
 
The earlier version of this balm was the first product Kolbjorn made in Sweden 25 years ago and it was used on all types of skin, including problem skin.
 
It is popularly applied to chapped and worn hands and feet.
It can be used on extra-dry skin patches that need extra care.
 
Good for protecting the hands from wind and weather when outside, in the garden, working or taking part in sport or leisure activities.
 
Works well to protect hands before and after being exposed to a lot of water, such as washing up dishes, cleaning and car maintenance.
 
Helps to relieve the harshness of detergents that are used in washing up liquid and some home cleaning products.
 
Use as a night compress for very dry hands/feet or chapped skin or hacks.

HOW TO USE IT

Method for Calendula Balm Night Compress:
Apply the Calendula Balm to the hands/feet.
 
Put on cotton gloves/socks.
 
Place a plastic bag over the socks and secure or plastic gloves over the cotton gloves.
Finally cover again with a cotton glove/sock (this stage is optional).
 
Leave on overnight.
 
You will see big improvements after a few nights with this method.
 
It is not recommended to use a Calendula product when pregnant or when breastfeeding.
